GUWAHATI, July 28 � Idd-ul-Fitre, marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, during which the faithful undertake fasting from dawn to dusk, will be celebrated tomorrow.
Guwahati and other parts of the State wore a festive look today, with the mosques and iddgahs bracing up for the occasion and shoppers thronging the markets.
Governor JB Patnaik, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal, AGP, AASU and NESO have extended Idd greetings to the people of Assam on the occasion.
