GUWAHATI, Jan 14 � The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) today made it clear that no resolution was adopted in its meeting with the representatives of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), Assam College Principals' Council (ACPC) and the Assam College Teachers' Association (ACTA), day before yesterday, to pre-pone the date of the 2012 Higher Secondary Examination by 15 days.
The Higher Secondary Examination would be held this time as per the schedule published by the AHSEC, said the AASU in a statement.
However, there was an agreement to pre-pone the date of declaration of the Higher Secondary Examination results this year by 15 days and the date of the 2013 Higher Secondary Examination by 15 days. And the said meeting decided to give a final shape to this decision at the meeting of the AHSEC executive council, said the students' body.
