NEW DELHI, Feb 11 � Union Minister of State for Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER) Dr Jitendra Singh today finalised the decision to bring up another hostel for students from the North-east on the premises of Ramanujan College at Kalkaji.

The Minister, accompanied by the Principal of Ramanujan College Dr SP Aggarwal, visited the college today. The hostel to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 40 crore, will have accommodation for about 250 students to be shared by boys and girls on 50-50 basis.

The hostel will be brought up in a four-storeyed building, sources said.
