GUWAHATI, Oct 19 - The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) honoured Budhin Deuri, Executive Director, ONGC Assam Asset, with SPE Distinguished Membership Award at the SPE�s �Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition� held in Dubai, UAE, recently.
�Deuri was recognised for his drive and passion for new technology, his dedication to SPE and its mission, and his leadership to young professionals, daring them to take on new challenges in the field of petroleum engineering,� a press release said.
The prestigious award was conferred by 2016 SPE president D Nathan Meehan.
Deuri is the section chairperson of SPE Northeast India Section. During his tenure as section chairperson, the SPE Northeast India section has been awarded the SPE Presidents Award for Sectional Excellence consecutively for two years in 2015 and 2016. SPE Northeast India Section was also the winner in the highest total Membership Retention percentage Category 1.
