DIPHU, Nov 10 - The Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam has requested all Home Guard volunteers below the age of 55 to report at the District Home Guards Office, Diphu, Karbi Anglong and submit an option form, an official press release stated.
The release further said that those Home Guard volunteers who have already completed three years of voluntary service as home guard and are willing to enrol as home guards for another period of three years may apply immediately at the District Home Guards Office, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, under the provisions of the Assam Home Guards Act and Rules 1947, as amended in 2015.
