GORESWAR, Oct 25 - One Ranjit Kalita, headmaster, Bapuji ME School located at No. 4 Goreswar (Balahati) under Goreswar Block Elementary Education Office (GBEEO) and Goreswar Police station in Baksa district allegedly stole rice of the midday meal meant for the students of his school recently.
According to sources, the headmaster illegally filled up his bag with midday meal�s rice from the school storage in front of the school students after school break with the chowkidar of the school allegedly helping him.
The public of the locality as well as the BJP Yuva Morcha, Goreswar unit president Rikhow Ranjan Das and Ananda Saha, secretary have urged the concerned authorities and the local MLA, Rangiya LAC to take urgent steps in this regard, a press release stated recently.
