GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - The Hemophilia Society Guwahati Chapter and the Department of Clinical Hemotology of Gauhati Medical College & Hospital are initiating to form the North East Hemophilia Consortium to develop and strengthen hemophilia care in all the eight states of the north-eastern region. A meeting will be held in this regard here tomorrow.
The meeting will involve key important doctors from each of the eight north-eastern states to discuss the process to develop hemophilia care as well as address the challenges and issues related to hemophilia management and initiate a hemophilia treatment centre in each of the eight NE states, a press release stated.
