IMPHAL, June 10 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said on Friday that a health insurance scheme for the journalists of the State had been approved and its premium would be borne by the State Government.
Speaking at a function organised by All Manipur Working Journalists� Union (AMWJU) here, he assured that the issues of hiking of journalists� pension and exemption of premium for the land allotted for Press Housing Colony will be discussed in the Cabinet at the earliest.
