GUWAHATI, April 6 - The Assam Forest Officers� Wives Welfare Society (AFOWWS) today organised a free health and eye check-up camp for employees of the State Forest Department in association with Sankaradeva Nethralaya and Narayana Super Specialty Hospital.

Pramila Rani Brahma, Minister for Environment and Forests, inaugurated the check-up camp at the Assam State Zoo premises. AFOWWS president Swarna Lata and general secretary Vandana Singh, along with other members, welcomed the minister.

Doctors and nurses of Sankaradeva Nethralaya and Narayana Super Specialty Hospital examined the staff of the zoo. A total of 171 people availed of the free check-up facility.
