GUWAHATI, June 23 - The Gauhati High Court today rejected the bail petition of Ambika Roy, Delhi-based advocate and a functionary of the Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samannay Samity (NBBUSS). Roy is an accused in the Paltan Bazar police station case in which CID SSP Dr N Rajamarthandan was arrested and subsequently released on bail. The bail petition of Roy was rejected after perusal of the case diary wherein ample materials have been reportedly found against the accused.
