SHILLONG, Oct 17 - The Harmony Meet of Central Puja Committee will be held at Laban Namghar, a socio-religious institution of the Assamese community, on October 19 at 3 pm.
Meghalaya Governor V Shnamuganathan would be the chief guest on the occasion in which religious leaders from every religious group would address the gathering.
The Laban Namghar is one of the oldest religious centres of the Assamese community and was established in the year 1920. �Since the time of its birth the Namghar is catering to the needs of the community not only in religious matters but also in socio-cultural activities�, Dhyan C Sharma, President of the Namghar said.
