GAURIPUR, March 20 - The Hanuman Jayanti Mahatsav Samiti, Gauripur will celebrate the silver jubilee celebration of Hanuman Jayanti with a two-day colourful programme from April 10 next.

In a press release, the Mahatsav Samiti informed that on April 10 puja rituals will be performed on the premises of Narasingha temple and will be followed by uninterrupted reading of the Ramayana and songs based on the Sundarkanda of the Ramayana will be sung by famous singer Akash Daghis and in the evening Bhajan-Kirtan will be performed by Parichay Daghis of Jharkhand.

On April 11, the closing ceremony of reading of the Ramayana will be held and thereafter, Puja and homeyajna will also be performed. Mahabhandara will start from 12 noon. An attractive cultural procession will also be brought out with a chariot where live �Ram-Sita� and �Hanuman� will move throughout the streets of the town sitting on the chariot followed by band parties and devotees.
