GUWAHATI, March 31 - Formidable Guwahati posted an innings and 11-run victory against Jorhat in the Nuruddin Trophy Senior Inter District Cricket tournament.
In a quarterfinal league match of the championship at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara here today, Guwahati, resuming at the overnight total of 133 for four, declared at 205 for seven. The highlight of the Guwahati innings was an unbeaten 108 by young Riyan Parag.
In the second innings Jorhat were all out for 113 in 42.4 overs as Chandandeep Das tore apart their innings with a six wicket haul. His match haul became 11/76.
