GUWAHATI, April 5 - The two-day quarterfinal league match of the Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament between Guwahati and Nagaon ended in a draw. But with the massive 283-run first innings lead, Guwahati gained three points from this match. Nagaon had to be content with one point.

Resuming at an overnight total of 262 for one, Guwahati declared their first innings at 432 for five after 77.2 overs of batting. Rishav Das, unbeaten on 144 yesterday was out for 161 while the other overnight batsman Avijit Singha Roy with 39, cracked 121 off 141 balls. Riyan Parag contributed 55.

Nagaon in the second innings were 298 for seven in 56 overs when stumps were finally drawn.

Guwahati 1st Innings (overnight 262/1) 432/5 declared (Rishav Das 161, Avijit Singha Roy 121, Rahul Hazarika 72, Riyan Parag 55; Bitop Mahanta 2/89).

Nagaon 2nd innings 298/7 (Bitop Mahanta 67, Arpan Kashyap 58 n.o., Amjad Ali 33, Debajit Baruah 30, Ashok Kr Saini 27, Dhiraj Goswami 25 n.o.; Chanakya Sarma 3/81, Gokul Sharma 2/48, Riyan Parag 2/109).
