GUWAHATI, May 22 � The Women�s Studies Research Centre of Gauhati University will launch a certificate course in gender studies, a press release received here said.
The first level of the course which will be a three-day programme on gender sensitisation will commence in three batches from June 5 to 7 June, June 12 to 14 and June 19 to 21 respectively. Graduates from any discipline will be eligible for admission to the course.
Homemakers, workers of non-governmental organisations and government organisations have been encouraged to apply.
Interested persons have been advised to submit their application on or before May 30 at the Office of Women�s Studies Research Centre, Gauhati University. No TA/DA will be provided to the participants. Details of the course along with application/ registration form will be available at the website www.gauhati.ac.in and also at the office of the Women�s Studies Research Centre, Gauhati University during office hours, the release added.
