GUWAHATI, March 1 - The Gauhati University team won five medals in events like folk music, western music, mime, mimicry, one-act play in the Inter-university Youth Festival held at Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati University, Rohtak, Haryana. The 35-member GU team included students from Cotton College, Mangaldoi College, Bajali College, Pachim Guwahati College, Pandu College and Pragjyotish College. The team was accopanied by Radha Charan Rabha, Director of Students' Welfare, GU, as the guide and Prof Bhaskarjyoti Bora as the associate guide. Mantu K Bora and Kuldip Patgiri led the team. VC Prof Okhil K Medhi, Gauhati University Teachers' Association, and the Registrar of GU congratulated the team on their achievement. This was stated in a press release.
