GUWAHATI, April 22 - Following an instruction from the University Grants Commission, the Gauhati University authorities have constituted a mental health task force to monitor the mental health, psychological aspects and well-being of the students during the present COVID-19 pandemic.

The task force will connect with individual students or the student community through mail, WhatsApp, telephonic calls, etc., to keep them fit during the current medical emergency situation.

The task force comprises Prof Sauravpran Goswami as chairperson, Prof Polly Vauquline as member secretary and Prof Polee Saikia, Dr Dulumoni Goswami and Arunjyoti Baruah as members.
