GUWAHATI, Nov 14 - Gauhati University boys defeated LNIPE 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-21 while IIT girls drubbed Guwahati College 25-17, 25-11, 25-15 in the finals of the Dr Gurucharan Baruah Memorial Inter College Volleyball Championship here today.
The championship was organised by the Guwahati Sports Association at its Judges� Field training centre.
In the closing function Satyen Sarma, president of Assam Mountaineering, Girija Baruah, wife of Dr Baruah, donors Krishna Baruah and Utpal Baruah were present and they gave away the prizes.
