GUWAHATI, Feb 10 � Gauhati Town Club trounced Laksmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) by 112 runs while Ankurjyoti Club posted a 3-wicket victory agsinst North Nalbari Sports Club in two group league matches of the Servo 20th Guwahati Challenge Trophy Cricket Tourbnament.
At Judges� Field here today, the first match was a one-sided affair as in reply to Gauhati Town Club�s 193 for 4 in the stipulated 20 overs, the physical educationists were all out for 81.
Ankurjyoti restricted North Nalbari to 124 for 6 in the second encounter and later hit up 125 losing 7 wickets with 5 balls to spare.
The championship has been organised by River Rine Club. The semifinals and final will be of 40 overs while the group league matches are of 20 overs.
