GUWAHATI, May 10 � Gauhati Town Club (GTC) Cricket Coaching Centre took a 57-run first innings lead against Santipur CCC in the final of the Jatindra Rabha and Renu Baruah Memorial 1st All Assam (U-16) Inter Coaching Centre Cricket Tournament.
On the first day of the two-day final played at the Latasil playground here today, opting to bat first, Santipur were all out for a paltry 95 in 32 overs. Abhirup Bhattacharya wrecked the Santipur innings with a five- wicket haul. Mehraj Ali was Santipur�s top scorer with 38.
In reply, GTC scored 152 in their first innings with Muzzan Ansari was the leading scorer with 44. Abdul Islam of Santipur bagged five wickets giving away 34 runs.
