GTC chess tourney held

GUWAHATI, April 22 - The April edition of the Gauhati Town Club (GTC) Chess Grand Prix was held at the Gauhati Town Club today.

Altogether 65 players participated in the U-15, U-9 and Open Category events. The tournament was conducted by Padma Gogoi as the chief arbiter and he was assisted by Mrinal Deka and Nandan Buragohain as the deputy arbiters. Biswajit Bharadwaj was the tournament director of the event. The next edition of the tournament will be held in the month of May 2018.
