GUWAHATI, Feb 23 � Santipur Athletic Club made winning start in the GSA A Division Cricket League for the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Trophy.
In the inaugural match of the championship at the Nehru Stadium here today, Santipur AC defeated Navajyoti Club by seven wickets.
Restricting the opponent to a paltry 80 all out in 23.2 overs, Santipur cracked 84 in 16.2 overs losing three wickets.
