NEW DELHI, July 3 � The Union Power Ministry is likely to convene a roundtable with all the stakeholders before taking a final call on resuming the works on the Subansiri project, the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sarbanada Sonowal told newsmen after meeting Power Minister Piyush Goyal this evening.
Sonowal, who was heading a State BJP delegation, said that the Power Ministry plans to hold discussions with the Assam Government, agitators and all concerned before deciding on the next move.
The confusion had arisen after Goyal was quoted as saying that the project works would begin soon.
