GUWAHATI, Jan 5 � The All India United Democratic Youth Front has flayed the ruling Congress Governments in Meghalaya and Assam for not being able to control the group clashes on the Assam-Meghalaya border.

The front also demanded adequate compensation to the affected, a press release stated.

Training on piggery farm concludes

GUWAHATI, Jan 5 � The directorate of Extension Education, Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Khanapara had organised a series of skill development training programme in the field of �scientific management of piggery farm,� with an aim to create awareness among the farmers of the rural Assam, a press release said.

The valedictory function was held at the Farmers� Hall, Directorate of Extension Education, AAU, Khanapara on December 31, under the chairmanship of Dr M Das. Earlier, Dr Ranjit Kr Bora, course director presented a detailed programme and course curriculum.
