GUWAHATI, July 2 - The State Government has appointed inspectors under the Working Journalists and Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1955.
The inspectors have been appointed under the provision of Section 17-B (1) of the Act to implement the provisions of the Act and to implement the recommendations in force from time to time, an official release said here today.
The Additional Labour Commissioners and all other officials of the department, with jurisdiction over the entire Assam, would exercise the power to implement the Act. � PTI
