GUWAHATI, March 17 � The State Government has directed the Treasury and Sub-Treasury Officers to clear the six months� arrears of the employees against their revised pay scales preceding April 1, 2009 as well as other incentives due to them with effect from January1, 2011.
The Finance department in a wireless message to the Treasury and Sub-Treasury Officers has said that �all such arrears and incentives may be paid from the provision made under �13-Pay Revision Arrears� of the respective service heads of accounts of the budget for 2010-11.�
In the event of any shortfall under �13-Pay Revision Arrears�, the expenditure may be met from the overall savings under �01-Salary� subject to availability.
Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad has hailed the Government order and expressed the hope that this would remove the problems faced by the employees in getting their arrear amounts due to them.
