Returning to the Kamakhyabari BSF camp, the Governor discussed with higher BSF officials the present condition of the border.

The Governor also attended a press meet at the BSF camp, where, in reply to questions posed by this correspondent, he said that electric fencing should be installed along the riverine border. He also asserted that the border works would be completed by 2015.

It is to be noted that the Governor did not visit the controversial Boraibari area.
