PANDU, Feb 27 � The NF Railway got the highest response of visitors at the Assam International Trade and Industrial Fair, which concluded in Jorhat recently. The Indian Railway unit, in its exhibition, showcased attractive models on the present rail network in Assam and ongoing projects.
A huge mascot named Bholu placed in front of the NF Railway stalls was the centre of attraction. It symbolised the Indian Railway�s completion of 150 years of service. Models of toy trains, mini trains, express trains, etc., were also displayed. Documentary films of the NF Railway on the Lumding-Badarpur Heritage MG Line, DHR Romance on Wheels and Indian Railways were also screened.
The NF Railway was awarded a certificate of appreciation for attractive exhibition by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Assam, and the FINER, stated Nripen Bhattacharyya, PRO, NF Railway, in a press release.
