GUWAHATI, May 24 - In a sporting gesture, outgoing Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi too attended the swearing-in ceremony of the new council of ministers headed by new Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
Gogoi was first welcomed by BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma on to the stage. Gogoi was seen seated next to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and remained on the stage till the function ended.
The three-time former Chief Minister was also greeted by other senior politicians on the centre stage.
