GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - The various health-related programmes that the GNRC Hospitals has been organising in different locations of the city since September 22, will conclude tomorrow.
Continuing with its endeavour to deliver �Health for All, Smiles for All�, GNRC recently unveiled a comprehensive educative booklet on heart attack and the secret of survival in conformity with World Heart Day. The initiative, a component of GNRC�s ongoing �Swasthya Yatra�, seeks to facilitate a �Healthy Assam & North East� by generating awareness about early signs of heart conditions. The booklet is expected to raise awareness levels about heart care and encourage people to be responsible towards one�s health by taking up basic tests.
Speaking at the booklet-release ceremony, Dr Anup Kumar Boro, Director, Cardiology Department of GNRC Hospitals, appealed to the people to join hands in the fight against heart ailments.
