GUWAHATI, Nov 12 - The Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has issued a termination notice to Hyderabad-based contractor M/s IVRCL Ltd, which has been awarded two tender packages under the ADB-assisted South East Guwahati Water Supply Project, due to poor performance.
The firm was given the task of construction of storage reservoirs of various capacities at six locations, approach roads and allied works in Guwahati on May 30, 2013 and construction of water supply transmission main pipelines and allied works in Guwahati on June 5, 2014 under the Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme (AUIIP) of the South East Guwahati Water Supply Project, said a statement.
Due to poor performance of the contractor, the termination notice was issued to the firm today for both the packages with 14 days� notice period.
