GUWAHATI, Feb 21 � The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Tuesday issued notice to 30 buildings located on GS Road for violation of the provisions with regard to parking in the basement/ground floor and other rules as laid down by the GMC Act 1971.
The civic body has served a seven-day ultimatum to the owners of the buildings to reply to the notice, failing which the municipal body will initiate the necessary action against the violators.
The building that have been served notice are � Durian, Dona Planet, Poddar Car World, DR Brijmohan & Sons, Sony (in front of Mizoram House), Starline Hotel, Hotel Gateway, Big Bazzar, Manik Chand & Sons, Sohum, Aditya Plaza, Pragati, International Hospital, Monal Tower (Gold Gym), Gulshan Grande, Gangotri Lodge, Dandi Tower, Hotel Amrit Regency, Hotel Anjuna Residency, Hotel Shiroylili, Hub, Godrej Building, NH Centre Point, Anima Basu, Avantina Niloy, Prity Tower, Tarnish Building, Hotel Kiranshree, Hotel Rodali Residency and Hotel Trimurti International, the release added.
