GUWAHATI, Aug 15 - Maria�s Public School, Guwahati received the Global Education Award for �Phenomenal Implementation Pedagogy (North East) at the Scoo News Global Educators Fest 2019 in Udaipur recently. Maria�s was the only school from the North East to have received the award, according to a press release issued here today.
The Scoo News Award was given away by Lakshyraj Singh, Prince of Mewar and Sonam Wangchuk and was received by Nellie Ahmed Tanweer, founder and managing trustee of the school.
The 3rd edition of Scoo News Global Educators Fest revolved around the theme �Education for Sustainability: Moving On from Conformity to Creativity�. This edition of SGEF brought together the brightest minds to ponder on how to leverage on our illustrious legacy and move towards a sustainable education that prioritises creativity over conformity.
