GUWAHATI, Aug 17 - A teenaged girl died in a road mishap in Lal Ganesh area under Fatasil Police Station this evening. Police identified the deceased as Rani Choudhury.
Although details of the mishap were awaited, police said that the girl died after she was hit by a bus, which had lost control on its way. The agitated public later damaged the bus. A couple of other vehicles were also hit by the speeding bus.
Rani, according to the police, was declared dead after she was rushed to a private hospital.
