IMPHAL, July 6 � Demanding a new bill on implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) system in Manipur Assembly, the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) has called a 19-hour Statewide general strike beginning Monday midnight.
�We want a proper law to safeguard the indigenous population of the State against the influx of non-locals�, said JCILPS convenor in-charge Khomdram Ratan.
