SILCHAR, March 26 - Thousands of people gathered at the mega Hindu conference and Gayatri Yagna organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, South East Assam zone on the occasion of Ram Navami at the India Club field here on Sunday.
In the words of Purna Chandra Mandal, the organisational secretary of the zone for VHP, �this mega conference and yagna is a part of the nationwide drive to echo the demand for construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.�
