GUWAHATI, April 11 � With a thrilling one-wicket victory against Faculty Higher Secondary School, Ganesh Nagar High School sailed into the final of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Inter School Cricket Tournament. In the low scoring first semifinal at the Nehru Stadium here today, deciding to bat first, Faculty HS School were all out for 114 in 24.1 overs.
The Ganesh Nagar batsmen, after a disastrous start, finally managed to cross the target in 27.1 overs losing nine wickets. Abhishek Agasti was in superb form for Faculty claiming six wickets. But his effort was not enough as the opponent tailenders kept their cool and reached the target.
