JORHAT, April 9 - A friendly cricket match between Jorhat Junior XI and Veterans XI was held today in a bid to promote cricketing environment in the State. The juniors defeated the veterans by 18 runs in the 15-over match. After scoring 88, the juniors restricted their opponents for 70.
The match was organised by the Jorhat chapter of the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam. The seniors here have assured to work sincerely for the development of the game in the State.
