RANGIYA, March 17 - Frequent internet link failure at Rangiya Post Office has been causing immense hardship to customers who visit the facility for various works connected with deposit and other transactions.

Due to recurrent problem at the said Post Office, customers often have to leave empty handed even after having waited in serpentine queues for hours on end, but without being able to transact any business.

A section of the peeved customers today expressed their collective anguish over the frequent link failure problem at Rangiya Post Office and even raised questions about the lack of promptness by dealing assistants or other staff working at the said facility.

The irked customers felt that the staff and officers at the Post Office were totally ignorant, or cared no less rather, about how to handle customers who were compelled by circumstances to waste valuable time in the futile pursuit of transacting some urgent business.

On being questioned about the disturbing state of affairs by this Correspondent, an official at the Post Office admitted helplesness, citing technical problems as the reason behind the public resentment.

�As we have no provision for manual business, online transaction is a must,� a staff at the facility said.

In the meantime, the harassed customers have urged the concerned higher authority to look into the matter with utmost urgency and do the needful for rectifying any fault so that the tax-paying customers are saved from any further harassment at a time when the Central Government is committed to digitalisation.
