GUWAHATI, May 28 � The Sub Regional Employment Officer, Coaching cum Guidance Centre for SC/ST, Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment (DGE&T), Rehabari, Old ITI campus here is going to impart a free of cost 11-month special coaching programme for stenography and clerks� grade examination, expected to be commenced from July 1 next.
A stipend of Rs 500 per month per candidate will be provided to SC/ST trainees. The course contents includes typewriting, shorthand (English), general knowledge, abstract reasoning, numerical ability and general English including six months computer training. The coaching is aimed at preparing the SC/ST candidates for the various competitive examinations conducted for the clerks� and stenographers�. Candidates must be HS passed in any discipline and interested SC/ST candidates may apply for the same immediately. The age must be 18-30 years as on June 30, 2012.
Interested candidates are advised to contact the Sub Regional Employment Officer, Coaching Cum Guidance Centre for SC/ST during office hours for collecting the application form from office and bring qualification certificates, caste/tribe certificate and valid employment exchange registration etc. along with admit card of HSLC for applying.
Further, a one year �O� level computer course under DOEACC Society, Guwahati (NIELIT) for SC/ST candidates will start immediately. Candidates must be HS passed in any discipline.
The age must be between 18-30 yrs as on June 30, 2012. Interested SC/ST candidates should bring qualification certificates, caste/tribe certificate and valid employment exchange registration as HS passed along with HSLC admit card for collecting the application form and getting selection of the training. The annual income certificate of father family�s must be below 2 lakhs, the release added.
