GUWAHATI, Aug 10 - Cinema hall owners, after a meeting today with the Kamrup (Metro) district administration, decided to arrange a free show of a patriotic film in their respective theatres at 11 am on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. The show will be open for students from class VIII to post graduate level. The students will have to show their identity cards, and entry will be on first-come-first-serve basis.
Free shows will be arranged at Anuradha, Pragjyoti, Apsara, Meghdoot, Vandana, Urvashi, Galeria, Gold Cinema Paltan Bazar (ASTC), Narengi and Lakhtokia, Cine Polish, Grand Cine and PVR cinema halls of the city.
