ITANAGAR, Nov 29 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today laid the foundation stone of the district secretariat at Tawang in the presence of State BJP president Tapir Gao, local MLA Tsering Tashi and Tawang Brigade Commander Zubin Bhatnagar.
In his speech, the Chief Minister said the State Cabinet had recently decided to take up the cases of all districts where mini secretariats are still to be constructed. Accordingly, funds have been sanctioned for all those districts including Tawang. Khandu assured that additional funding required for completion of the secretariat building would be sanctioned within this year.
The Chief Minister also said the State Government would conduct training for all MLAs and government employees so that the legislature and the executive could be effective in the discharge of their duties.
