GUWAHATI, Dec 30 - The convenors� forum, constituted by the December 28 citizens� convention held at the Lakhidhar Bora Kshetra here, today decided to form a platform under the name and style of �Nagarikatva Ain Sangsodhan Birodhi Mancha� with Dr Hiren Gohain as its chairman.

Manjit Mahanta and Kamal Kumar Medhi have been appointed its joint convenors, while Harekrishna Deka, Udayaditya Bharali, Dr Apurba Kumar Baruah, Jyotiprasad Saikia, Holiram Terang, Palas Sangmai, Dr Manorama Sarma, Dr Dinesh Baishya, Bidyut Bikash Senapati, Abdul Mannan, Dr Navaneel Barua, Dr Dilip Bora, Dhiren Ingty, Deben Tamuly, Paresh Malakar, Santanu Barthakur, Ajit Chandra Talukdar, Russel Hussain, Krishna Gogoi, Kishor Kumar Kalita, among others, are named as its members, according to a press release issued by the forum this evening.

The Mancha will consult all political parties, organisations etc, with the purpose of building a broad-based united movement on the issue, said the convenors.
