Former Nagaland Minister passes away

KOHIMA, Nov 27 - Senior Congress leader of Nagaland and a former Minister T Sentichuba Ao passed away at Dimapur on Wednesday, family members said. He was 80.

A veteran legislator, he was first elected to the State Assembly in 1969 from Yisemy-ong, now Angetyong-pang Assembly constituency on United Front Nagaland ticket and later changed to United Democratic Front. He was elected six times from the same constituency.

His funeral service was held at his residence in Dimapur yesterday after which his body was taken to his native village in Mongsenyimti under Mokokchung district for burial, family sources said. � PTI
