DOOMDOOMA, May 29 - A month-long coaching camp on football and volleyball under the �Khelo India� scheme got underway on Tuesday at Doomdooma Town Field here.
The camp is for the young players of U-19 years. The camp was formally inaugurated by senior journalist and the president of Doomdooma Press Club Arjun Baruah. The inaugural programme was also addressed by Doomdooma MLA Durga Bhumij.�
Rajen Narah will impart coaching in football while Siew Gopal Prasad and Hirakjyoti Moran are incharge of volleyball coaching. Altogether 270 and 160 players have registered their names for football and volleyball coaching respectively.
