GUWAHATI, June 9 � Guwahati Young Star Football Coaching Centre is going to hold football coaching for boys U-13 and girls for all age group at the Nehru Stadium here from July 12 to 27.

Disclosing this in a press conference here today the secretary of the coaching centre Hem Das said 50 girls from Rani area and 30 boys of the city will take part in the 16-day camp. The organisers have invited Darsan Gohain and Ansar Brahma as coaches for the camp while a batch of senior players and coaches will provide their services voluntarily.

Das said a well-wisher, Diganta Baruah has offered Rs 50,000 for the camp while some other organisations are also likely to render financial assistance. The organisers have prepared a budget of Rs 2.61 lakh for the camp which will be a residential one for the girls.

Working president of the coaching centre Bishnuram Nunisa said they are expecting some good players from the camps and hoped the girls in particular will learn a lot from this camp. As all the girls are beginner and under going training at Rani in a regular camp. He said all the girls are sincere and ready to work hard. Other organisers Pranab Saikia and Swapan Chakravorty also discussed some points on the camp and their centre.
