Foot-tapping music rocks Shilpgram

GUWAHATI, Nov 24 � The city on Sunday evening witnessed the sixth edition of FIREBALL � a much-awaited rock and metal extravaganza of the North-east at Shilpgram, Panjabari.

Organized by Rocka Rolla Events and Castle Hill Events, the four-hour show enthralled the audience as live performances of Skyharbor from UK, Still Waters from Gangtok, Aberrant from Shillong and Jupiter Island from Guwahati set the Shilpgram stage on fire.

An event that not only showcases talents from the region but also from across the globe, Fireball focuses on a relevant social cause and spread awareness for the same through music. �Join the Indian Armed Forces�, has been the motto of FIREBALL since beginning.

The event also witnessed the lighting of around 500 candles by the audience as a tribute to the late Tariq Abdullah.

Commenting on the sixth edition of FIREBALL, David Koch of Rocka Rolla Events and Artist Management said, �Rocka Rolla, from the day of its conception, has tried to surprise all rock and metal lovers by bringing the lead bands of the county and abroad. We believe that the only therapy for any emotion, be it heartbreak, blues or anxiety, is music. It fills us with energy, hope, optimism and the confidence to take on the world.�
