NEW DELHI, Dec 21 � The Government will introduce the Food Security Bill, which seeks to give legal right on cheaper foodgrains to 63.5 per cent of the country�s population, in the Lok Sabha tomorrow, reports PTI.
�The National Food Security Bill will be introduced in Lok Sabha tomorrow,� Food Minister K V Thomas told reporters here on the sidelines of the 77th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA).
The Speaker has given the permission to introduce the Bill, he said, adding that the Bill would be referred to the Parliamentary Standing Committee.
