Flying expedition reaches city

GUWAHATI, Nov 23 � An all-India microlight flying expedition conducted by the Army Aero Nodal Centre, Gaya under the aegis of the Army Adventure Wing arrived at the Borjhar airport here today.

The expedition was flagged in by Lieutenant Kamal Mohe, Commandant, ASC Centre and College (South), Bangalore. Officers from the Narengi Military Station were also present during the flagging-in.

The expedition is passing through all the State capitals and Union territories of the country. The expedition was flagged off on November 19 from Gaya by Commandant Army Service Corps, Centre (North), Gaya.

The expedition, after passing through all the State capitals and Union Territories, will culminate in an aero-show at Bangalore on December 8 to coincide with the 9th reunion and celebration of 250 years of the Army Service Corps at Bangalore, an official statement said.
