Flood relief camp held

GUWAHATI, July 20 - The Krishnaguru Sikitsha Sewa Samiti (KSSS) organised a relief camp for the flood-affected victims of Baniakuchi, Bengapara, Amrikhuwa and Nasatra of Barpeta district on July 18, a press release stated.

Kuntala Patowary Goswami (daughter-in-law of Krishnaguru Ishwar) inaugurated the camp by serving the flood victims with drinking water, snacks and sanitary napkins along with other members of KSSS.

Around 800 people who were compelled by circumstances to leave their homes and take shelter at roadside camps and schools were benefited by the philanthropic initiative.
